So this blog is primarily going to be me ranbling about any big projects that I'm working on. The only big project I have at the moment (other than a video that I've been procrastinating on) is this website, so it's going to be a lot of me talking about all of the changes I've made to the website so far.
Past Neocities pages have burnt out too quickly for me to make anything real interesting with them. Part of the issue I think is that I don't know how to design my CSS. Both in terms of me not doing enough research into how to make it work, and the fact that I have no idea what I even want the finished product to look like. How am I supposed to design a website if I don't know what the end result is going to look like?
My answer for this attempt is that I'm just going to leave it plain for now. Fuck it! Let it look like plain HTML thrown onto a white canvas. I've got a few ideas for how I want to get the site to look eventually, purely just having enough designed to easily get around and have it serve its purpose.
Eventually I'll go out of my way to add more color, some images, buttons, and other wondeful things to make my page stand out and become more its own thing. I've seen people with guest books and comments sections on their Neocities pages, and I think it'd be cool to add that to my page to get feedback on my blog posts and whatever else I decide to post... or I could just leave my email somewhere I don't know.
Eventually I'm going to be going more in depth on my projects relating to VHS tapes, old TV and camcorders, retro consoles, and other magical electronics. I'm also thinking a specific page for tutorials, hosting some software that I make on here, and maybe even some media reviews if I'm feeling extra goofy with it. Maybe. But for now, I'm gonna go take a nap.
